How it is calculated
Add: tax = net × rate / 100. Remove: net = gross × 100 / (100 + rate). From tax: net = tax × 100 / rate. Find rate: (gross − net) / net × 100. Presets are typical standard VAT/GST rates and can change. Not tax advice; local reduced rates and US state sales tax extras are not applied automatically.
